HOW IT WORKS

Redraw the soundscape, output by output

DAM Upmix analyses your stereo flux in real time and rebuilds the soundscape across every output you define. For each output, you choose where in the stereo image it draws from — a position on the stereo axis. Like a mid-side matrix, you can reach beyond L and R (past ±90°) to pull energy from the extreme sides — but without the phase problems that M/S brings.

Each output also carries a Weight: a gain set from how much of the image it covers, so the energy stays balanced and the timbre at the output is exactly the timbre you fed in. The sound is redistributed across the system — never recolored.

THE INTERFACE

Built to be moved, not configured

A clear polar view shows your signal in real time — drag any output on the goniometer to place it exactly where you want. From there, two global controls reshape the whole image at once. Spread scales every output's pan together: pull it in to correlate the outputs — the same sound everywhere, a tight image — or push it out to decorrelate them for more variety between speakers and more space. Tilt shifts the weight balance between the central and the outer outputs — bringing the front or the surrounds forward — while keeping the tonal balance intact.
